AGENTWARE

This Web-based tool searches airfare and consolidator sites in real time to obtain the best prices from multiple Internet sites during the reservation process.  With a single query, it enables our travel consultants to search over dozens of websites simultaneously and returns results in one page.  In one easy-to-use interface, AgentWare provides our travel professionals access to airfares from relevant web sites with more sources being added regularly.  AgentWare searched for consolidator fares, carriers and aggregators that are unavailable to consumers directly, adding yet another source of low-cost fares.  Finally, the AgentWare interface can include GDS fare information alongside returned web fare information.  The AgentWare product requires an annual licensing agreement and minimum commitment from each customer. 

SOUTHWEST RESERVATIONS

While other agencies boast about “Southwest Booker”, a module of their automated quality control product, they do not have direct access to Southwest Airline’s inventory, unless their agency utilizes Sabre.  Although World Travel’s primary GDS is Apollo, our agents have the capability to toggle between the Sabre and Apollo.  Sabre is the only system Southwest Airlines bookings can be placed with directly.  This saves our agents a tremendous amount of time.  They do not have to wait for a response from our quality control systems, or spend unnecessary time on the telephone trying to reach the airline to check availability or place a reservation with Southwest.  Instead, they are prepared to receive the next telephone call or e-mail message to assist travelers or travel arranger.

GALILEO WIRELESS

This system allows clients to access flight information, view reservations, and rebook to an earlier or later flight from wireless devices on most major carriers.  Customers may also sign up to receive flight updates up to four hours prior to departure of any gate terminal or departure time change.  Email notification is also available.  These features are available on a web-enabled device such as wireless phone, pager, or personal digital assistant.

GLOBAL CELLULAR PHONES

World Travel is able to offer customers traveling internationally cellular phones through a global network provider.  This service provides one phone number, which is accessible in over 142 countries, direct dialing to anywhere, 24-hour global customer assistance, voice mail, caller ID and call waiting, data/fax/e-mail/internet capability and state of the art lightweight phones.  This service is up to 70% less than hotel phones and up to 65% less than calling cards, plus is great for safety and convenience.  Contact your World Travel Representative for ordering and pricing details.

VIEWPOINT - VIRTUALLY THERE

To assist with booking hotel reservations, World Travel utilizes ViewPoint and Virtually There.  Viewpoint is a software package which checks available hotels, locates hotels near reference points, plots hotels on maps, and accesses geographical information.  Often a traveler may request a property near a client location or meeting point. Thus our agents may easily research hotels that meet the client’s objectives. Virtually There also has the ability to interface directly with and update automatically your Outlook Calendar. 

CUSTOMCHECK

This product allows a PNR (Passenger Name Record) to be edited for specific accounting and reporting requirements.  CustomCheck allows the quality assurance coordinator to build rules that edit for the presence and/or absence of a PNR field.  Virtually, a reservationist can not complete a transaction without compliance to these rules.

TRAVELSCREEN

This program stores corporate policies, as well as individual preferences.  This information allows us to produce customized availability displays.  By doing so, TravelScreen ensures that travelers are offered those travel options, products or vendors that adhere to your company’s travel policy or an individual’s preferences.  With TravelScreen, the reservation process is faster and more accurate, while providing a consistent, high level of traveler service and corporate compliance.

PRIVATE FARES

Negotiated contract fares may be programmed into the computer reservation system.  This product is called Private Fares and allows the reservationists to easily calculate the cost of transportation with the negotiated discount applied.  This technology enhancement saves time and ensures accurate discounts are applied.

ONLINE REPORTING

World Travel provides clientele with Online Reporting. Online Reporting allows our customers to produce reports and gain information instantly at their fingertips.  Our interactive reporting provides a feature designed to gain analytical, graphic and individual information.  Data is available with a 48 hour lag time to allow for voided transactions and date ranges may be selected to include two years of historical data.

TRAVEL ADVISOR MODULE

In an environment where travelers are assuming more responsibility for their reservations and travel documentation, Travel Advisor is one of the industry’s most significant advancements for cost savings and information management. Travel Advisor is a document delivery system that automates timely and expensive fare/schedule searches and automatically delivers findings, along with easy to read itinerary, invoice and E-Ticket receipts via email or fax-based mediums directly from the agent workstation.  Another key area that will benefit will be maximum utilization of canceled non-refundable tickets.  It will alert the traveler or travel arranger to inform them that a ticket must be utilized or re-issued before it expires and is not valid for re-issuance or use after this date.  Travel Advisor may also be used to provide travelers with country status up-dates including information regarding unrest in key areas of the world.

WORLDCUE PLANNER

World Travel offers clients Worldcue Planner at no additional cost.  Available on our web-site, password accessible only, Worldcue Planner will provide comprehensive destination information for over 180 countries and 260 cities covering ten subject areas: security, health, transportation, entry/exit information, finance, culture, language, communication, legal, and weather/environment information.  This constantly updated resource provides authoritative information on current conditions around the world so travelers can avoid disruptions and surprises.  This real-time travel intelligence resource enhances traveler safety, productivity and peace of mind.

INFUZER

Infuzer is an application that will enable travelers to quickly download onto their calendars and wireless devices, their personal travel itineraries and other information such as flight status, weather and travel alerts from the ViewTrip.com site.  This product will provide the end-user with changes to their travel schedule.  All information that is presently displayed in the ViewTrip Itinerary would be transferred into the PIM application or Electronic Calendar.  As a permission based system, Infuzer will ask the user permission before inserting any items into the user’s calendar.  This provides the user assurance that unauthorized parties will not be inserting items into the user’s calendar without their explicit permission.  When the itinerary data has been successfully downloaded, it can then be transferred to the traveler’s PDA through synchronization.

TRAVEL REQUEST FORMS

Reservation requests may also be made through forms sent by e-mail.  This process is convenient for those individuals who prefer an alternate method other than telephone or an automated booking engine to place reservations.  A complete itinerary may then be sent to the traveler through e-mail.

INDIVIDUAL CORPORATE PROFILES

World Travel strongly suggests providing an automated link that will simultaneously update profiles in the GDS and in our online booking systems.  This will serve to ensure that we have the most complete up to date information for each traveler and will also maintain the integrity of the required data for management reports.

World Travel’s systems enable us to compile Corporate Client Profiles.  The profile outlines pertinent travel data for individuals in each company.  Included in this profile would be important information such as corporate ID#, addresses, telephone numbers, service class preferences, seating preferences, frequent flyer numbers, credit card numbers, and discount numbers.  The information provided on the corporate profile is strictly confidential and utilized for the purpose of placing reservations only and can be added or modified via web, email, fax or phone at any time.   Profiles will be built under each respective business unit record.

Travelers will be able to modify their existing profile any time with pertinent data online and it will auto synchronize with our reservation system. This system is a third party software solution we have purchased from Trondent.

Trondent offers the travel industry's broadest and most sophisticated range of profile management solutions. The profile modules convert, migrate, upload, transfer, synchronize or create a private labeled global portal for traveler profiles.

ProFILER

This software is designed to maintain and standardize traveler profiles. ProFILER converts data into formats required by online booking tools, GDS or database tools. Updated profiles can then be uploaded back into the relevant database. ProFILER can also modify and update profiles between different GDS, saving hours of manual profile data entry. ProFILER is the fastest and most cost-effective way to perform profile entry, maintenance and conversion

ProFILER Sync

Sync technology has evolved to support the interface requirements of many on-line booking systems to ensure that changes made in one place are automatically reflected in all databases.ProFILER Sync supports the deployment and ongoing management of on-line booking tools by automating three primary activities: profile standardization, population of on-line system databases and the ongoing, real-time synchronization of databases when changes occur.

Profiler Web

Profiler Web gives travelers access and control over their profiles via the Internet. Individuals can access a custom-designed, secure password protected website where they can create or modify their existing profiles. Once changes have been saved, profiles are immediately uploaded to any GDS or non-GDS database.

ON-LINE BOOKING ENGINES

World Travel offers a comprehensive suite of Online Booking Engines to provide a complete management solution that meets the needs of corporate travel managers, traveler coordinators and travelers – as well as CFO’s and other financial managers. Our suite of products include Travelport, GetThere and Cliqbook. They offer quick and convenient access to travel information, while controlling corporate travel policies.   With an On-Line booking engine, companies can save significantly on the cost of travel and the time required to make travel reservations.

More and more companies rely on a close relationship with their travel agency to get the information and assistance they need to better manage their travel expenses. All of the On-Line booking engines offered by World Travel, Inc. will support and enhance that relationship as corporate travelers use it to plan and manage business trips, then utilize World Travel for ticket distribution and other travel management functions.

All of our products provide a direct interface connection to Apollo, Sabre or a combination of these systems.  Travelport, GetThere and Cliqbook give GDS (Global Distribution System) options, therefore the best GDS selection can be made for each company.  These online tools also search internet websites for full content pricing.

For customers utilizing one of World Travel’s Booking Engines without agent intervention for booking, canceling, or changing reservations, agent costs are reduced which provides savings for our customer. Once a record is received, the reservation is quality controlled and returned to the agent for automated processing of an electronic ticket. Reservation information will be captured in World Travel’s reporting to assist in controlling travel expenditures and the system may filter travel and entertainment policies plus access negotiated rate programs.

VIEWTRIP

This product allows the travelers to view, in real time, their air, hotel and car rental reservations booked through the Global Distribution System.  ViewTrip not only provides dynamic itinerary information, but any updates that are made to an itinerary by the agent or customers themselves.

TRAVEL WEB PAGE DEVELOPMENT

World Travel’s MIS Department can design and host a travel page designed especially for your organization.  The travel pages may include items such as your Travel and Entertainment Policy, frequently asked questions and answers, a problem solver page, travel authorization forms, links to our corporate and leisure newsletters, a link to our on-line reporting, and a link to our on-line booking engine. 

FOCALPOINTNET/SABRE NET

World Travel extends to our clients the option to access the Apollo or Sabre Reservation Systems.  FocalpointNet and Sabre Net enable the travel coordinator/manager to have direct access to World Travel’s reservation system. The global distribution systems offer these applications at a reasonable monthly fee.  (This fee is not charged by World Travel, it is a cost directly from the GDS).
